Anyone at some point in his
or her life experiences this predicament. However, what we do when this moment
comes is what set us apart from others. Becoming stagnant may be because
we are no longer excited about what we used to be excited before; or our goal
or at least this present goal is no longer inspiring. Another point for our stagnation is the
repetitious life with no stops in between. Although we ought to be grateful for
the ability to work, and to be active on a daily basis, but at some point our
daily routine becomes nothing but a meaningless routine.
So how do we get over
stagnation? Think of our life as a computer. Sometimes my computer freezes
while I am working, I become frustrated if I am doing something important, I will keep hitting the keyboard hoping to get a better result. Meanwhile, I could
easily shut it down and reboot it again for a fresh start and sometimes I even
get a better speed. I suggest rearranging your goals, stop and take
a deep breath from daily activities.
Sometimes a better way to
look at something is by looking at it in a different position. I enjoy rearranging
my house furniture because of the new look it provides and because I also find
things that I thought I had lost. Take a reassessment of what you want to do in
life, maybe you will find that there were things you neglected before that you
can use now to achieve your goal and be fulfilled again.
